We received so many requests for smaller daytime weddings that we are opening three new venues – Autumn Park West, Autumn Park East and River Birch venue – all conveniently located in the Valley Gardens. These venues will complement our La Grande Allée du Jardin venue – the site of large, formal weddings in 2012 – which has comfortable capacity for more than 400 guests.
Wedding ceremonies in the heart of the Gardens
And, for all the brides who dreamed of a daytime wedding in the Gardens, Jim Gibbs is now introducing four exquisite ceremony sites: the Rose Gardens, the European Wedding Gazebo, the Grandchildren’s Sculpture Garden and The Japanese Gardens Entrance. These sites will be available only to brides who have a reception in one of our venues.
Set in the heart of the Gardens, we are proud to introduce four very special sites for your wedding ceremony:
· The European Wedding Gazebo- Set against a sweeping view of wooded hillsides, the European Wedding Gazebo sits between two ponds with nearby bridge crossings. A carpet of thick, lush grass stretches to the very edges of the ponds. The Waterlily Gardens are just steps away.

· The Rose Gardens– Frame your wedding ceremony with the exquisite beauty of nature. Set in a special part of the Gardens, long sweeps of Knockout Roses are planted in long curved beds, flanked with lush green lawn, and set above the water gardens and other areas of the Valley Gardens. More than 1,000 roses range in colors from shades of red, pink, yellow and white to create a breathtaking backdrop for your wedding ceremony.
· The Grandchildren’s Sculpture Gardens –Vast sweeps of lawn spread from a stream across the sculpture gardens up beyond an allée of 40 White Natchez Crape Myrtles toward the Rose and Daylily gardens to create a majestic setting for a wedding ceremony. For a glamorous bridal entrance, stroll to the ceremony site though the allée.

The Torii Gate marks the entrance to the largest Japanese Gardens in the country.
· The Japanese Gardens Entrance – Set near the entrance to the largest and most spectacular Japanese Gardens in the country, this ceremony site is incomparable. Views of the Torii Gate marking the entrance and hand-carved Japanese lanterns will greet your guests. In the fall, the magnificent colors of hundreds of Japanese Maples make this magnificent site breathtaking.
