A garden designed for your comfort and enjoyment
Jim Gibbs designed his beautiful gardens with your comfort and convenience in mind. Every aspect of Gibbs Gardens – from the minute you arrive until you leave – is planned to provide you with the most unforgettable garden experience ever. A spectacular allée of 120 Sunset Maples greets you as you turn onto Gibbs Drive, the entrance to Gibbs Gardens. As you follow the road through the Sunset Maples toward the parking areas don’t miss the spectacular view of the North Georgia Mountains as soon as you exit the allée.

On your left you’ll see mountain vistas, Magnolia trees, and sweeping curves of Holly and Crape Myrtles complemented by seasonal plantings. Give yourself a minute to take in this amazing view – and if you have a camera handy, this is a truly beautiful shot.
Continue down Gibbs Drive to the parking lot where our friendly and helpful attendants will help you find a good place to park. Stroll across the Flower Bridge – so beautiful it’s jaw-dropping. Jim Gibbs designed this display of annual and perennial flowers in elegant wrought iron containers to greet his visitors and give them a first glimpse of the beauty that flourishes within the Valley Gardens.

Once across the Flower Bridge you’ll come to the Welcome Center, the central location for restrooms, ticketing, The Seasons Gift Store and a serendipitous surprise: Jim Gibbs’ art gallery, which displays artistic impressions of scenes in Gibbs Gardens.

The art gallery features the work of Jim Gibb’s favorite impressionist painter artist Ann Young. He has commissioned the artist to create a series of paintings of scenes in Gibbs Gardens; each painting subtly reveals The Lady of Arbor Crest, a beautiful woman with a mysterious connection to the gardens. Jim has arranged for a limited number of high quality giclée prints to be created from these very special paintings; these limited edition giclées are now available and may be purchased in The Seasons Gift Store.

For unique, high-quality gifts, don’t miss The Seasons Gift Store, which offers a spectacular collection of “must have” items – from art to collectibles and chic gardening hats to amazingly preserved boxwoods.

Gift store manager Donna Osborne has scoured the best markets to bring back the latest trends in gardening and décor items, fashion accessories, artistic touches for entertaining, home and gardens -- and “just plain fun” items for you. You’ll find high style and good value for every season at The Seasons.
