When it’s time for lunch or a snack, head for The Arbor Café where you will enjoy a delicious interlude surrounded by the harmony of nature.
The Arbor Café boasts the same commitment to quality and respect for “natural” ingredients that Jim Gibbs has instilled into every aspect of Gibbs Gardens. You won’t find mass-produced, preservative-laden breads and cakes in Jim’s Arbor Café. All the sandwiches are made with artisan bread -- baked fresh every morning.
And, what delicious choices you will have. Select from Jim’s favorite gourmet chicken salad on walnut cranberry bread. Or, try a tantalizing pimento cheese on jalapeno cheddar bread.
For tradition with a twist, there’s ham and cheddar cheese served on Mediterranean black olive bread or roasted turkey and provolone on country white.
Add chips, a drink and settle down to enjoy your lunch at one of the tables in the shade of mature trees or opt for a table steps away in our tented venue.
Make sure to save room for a fresh baked dessert: jumbo chocolate chip cookies, cream cheese lemon bars and cream cheese pound cake.
After lunch, stroll to the Manor House Gardens to explore seven flowering terraces or visit the many garden venues that make up the Valley Gardens.
